b|launched 3.0 Winning Company Revealed

AgriGated, the winner of the Boise Young Professionals’ b|launched 3.0 competition, will present their company to the public for the first time on Tuesday, November 18th, 2014 as part of “b|launched Revealed”. AgriGated will provide a mobile device dashboard that aggregates and delivers multiple streams of customizable industry information to farmers in a single platform. Team members include Jeremy Billups, Tara Hamilton, Aaron Hansen, David Hunt, Jeff Johnson, Brett Kennedy, and Ratheesh Kaniyala.

The b|launched 3.0 competition is a job creation and new business start-up initiative in the form of a software development competition for young professionals. There is also a version of the program for high school juniors called b|launched Jr. The two b|launched Jr. winning teams, Nolo Tag from Centennial High School and Line Skipper from Timberline High School, will also present their concepts. In a closed, executive session following the reveal, there will also be an opportunity for these teams to pitch for additional follow-on funding up to $20,000.

Led by well-known, local business mentors, b|launched started in 2011 and has resulted in the creation of multiple companies, including AgriGated, BeFree Village, CraySay, Follow & Fund, and ADvailable Market. During this event, Be Free Village, CraySay and Follow & Fund will provide an update on their companies. With the completion of this third season, b|launched will have trained over 120 young professionals in the art of creating start-ups.

The program is supported by sponsors Perkins Coie, Wells Fargo, and Eide Bailly. The next iteration, b|launched 4.0, is set to launch on January 20, 2015 and is open to anyone over the age of 21.
