Tony Hauser is currently the Co-Founder of Idaho Asset Management Trust which is a partnership focused on acquiring distressed property. He also serves as Board Member and Past President of, Novel Projects, Inc. He founded webMillion.com which became a top 100 website and had quarterly revenues exceeding $1MM. Tony sold this company in under 18 months for $20MM. He is also a member of the Idaho Angel Alliance and has been one of their representatives involved in b|launched 2.0 in 2012.
Mr. Hansen is an investor, entrepreneur and businessman. He made his first investment in the stock market before the age of 12, and he purchased his first real estate investments during college. He is the founder and managing partner of a privately held and diversified investment company engaged in real estate other investments. He is the lead investor in a rapidly-growing local technology company that sells software as a service (SaaS) in the emergency notification space.
He is dedicated to the Idaho startup community, taking time every day to help business owners and entrepreneurs. He is currently working through the Idaho Technology Council to address the funding gaps in our start-up economy. Mr. Hansen is a member of the screening and portfolio committees for the Boise Angel Alliance, an investor in two angel funds, and he sits on the board of the local chapter of the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO).
David has over 20 years of managerial and operational experience. At age 16 he managed a baseball card shop for a remote owner. Helped open and develop a pizza franchise in the Midwest. Co-Founded an Idaho based private equity group Capital Eleven. Opened and developed a new market for Electrical Wholesale supply in Sun Valley Idaho. Currently serves on the Board of Directors for Electrical Wholesale and manages the Boise location.
David has a great passion for finance and education. Received his Finance degree in 2003 and finished his MBA in 2010 through Boise State’s EMBA program. David lives in Meridian with his wife and four boys. David wants to help expand Idaho’s venture capital and business technology markets.
David Gabrieli is a lawyer and technology professional with 15+ years experience building emerging market companies. David was Director of Licensing for Amazon.com, where he negotiated multimillion-dollar licensing, merchandising and distribution agreements with domestic and international partners. He also co-founded GalleryPlayer, a Seattle-based media company focused on delivering HD content to consumers. Prior to Amazon, David worked as an intellectual property and licensing attorney and as an application software developer at Hewlett-Packard. David earned a BA in Economics and an MS in Information System Management from Boston University, and a JD from Suffolk University Law School.
Phaedra is currently a Risk Management Specialist for Waldo Agencies where she identifies client’s risk, and finds solutions that will turn them into opportunities. She has an undergraduate degree in business, an MBA and over 20 years’ experience in strategic planning, finance, marketing and business management. In 1998 she co-founded a consulting firm and sold the successful business in 2012. Phaedra applies the experience and lessons learned in organizational planning, risk management and exit planning to help others succeed in their business pursuits.
Jennifer has a diverse background with an undergraduate degree in Agriculture Economics from New Mexico State University, 10 years of experience in the insurance industry which included working in a small family business managing $2 million in premiums and a small office, a Fortune 100 company managing agents producing more than $20 million in premiums, and as a consultant to insurance agents and agencies valued up to $10 million in premiums.
After earning an MBA in Technology Management from Westminster College, she went to work for the State of Utah with the successful USTAR program as a business analyst coordinating State University research efforts with the business community focused in alternative energy. She then moved to Ecuador with her family and started a women’s and children’s accessory company where the products were sold in stores in the U.S. including Whole Foods, Cracker Barrel and SkyMall.com.
She is now working with the Wayne Brown Institute bringing their venture accelerator programs to Idaho entrepreneurs. She is responsible for building a mentor network, filling an entrepreneur pipeline and building relationships in the entrepreneur community in Idaho.
George Johnson is the Senior Managing Director at Weobly One Capital, a seed-stage investment company located in Boise. At Weobly George is responsible for strategy development and implementation, portfolio management, and consultative special projects. As a Boise native, George is especially excited about Weobly’s current focus to invest in Boise based tech start-ups. Prior to joining Weobly in 2012, George was the Americas Imaging and Printing Category Support Manager for Hewlett Packard. His career at HP spanned 20 years where he held positions in customer support, supply chain and finance. He is a business strategist with significant experience leading operationally complex international organizations, and is now enjoying the daily excitement of working with a diverse portfolio of start-up companies. He also has experience with capital markets from a nine year career as a stock broker, including six years at Piper, Jaffray and Hopwood. He holds Bachelors of Business Administration - Accounting and Masters of Business Administration degrees from Boise State University. GO BRONCOS!!!
